Frederic Sackrider Remington [1861-1909] was an American painter, etcher, illustrator, sculptor, and writer who specialized in depictions of the Old American West. He attended art school at Yale University, and at the age of 25 his art was first published in Harpers Weekly. A few years later, he was honored by the American Postal Service, when they issued two stamps featuring his work. In 1898, William Randolph Hearst sent Remington to provide illustrations of the Spanish American War for the New York Journal, and by 1901, Remington was a regular contributer to Colliers Magazine.
Sierra Valley traditional flour sack towels are 100% prewashed cotton, making them lint-free and extremely absorbent.
Sierra Valley flour sack towels are made from non-refined fabrics, so each towel is slightly different, but they all measure approximately 30"x30".
Images are printed onto the towels such that they display fully when folded in thirds and hung on a rack.
Sierra Valley flour sack towels are meant to be used, and become softer and more absorbent after each wash.
Machine wash cold with mild detergent.
Do not bleach. Tumble dry medium heat.
