Louis Agassiz Fuertes [1874-1927] was an American ornithologist, illustrator and artist. He attended Cornell University where he later lecturer on ornithology. He illustrated over 60 books, contributed to hundreds of magazine articles, and is considered one of the most prolific American bird artists. Fuertes also traveled extensively throughout the United States, and while visiting Mexico, he discovered a new species of Oriole, which was later named the Fuertes Oriole.
Sierra Valley traditional flour sack towels are 100% prewashed cotton, making them lint-free and extremely absorbent.
Sierra Valley flour sack towels are made from non-refined fabrics, so each towel is slightly different, but they all measure approximately 30"x30".
Images are printed onto the towels such that they display fully when folded in thirds and hung on a rack.
Sierra Valley flour sack towels are meant to be used, and become softer and more absorbent after each wash.
Machine wash cold with mild detergent.
Do not bleach. Tumble dry medium heat.
