Description
Each slice of this delicious frozen pie is bursting with BLUE BUNNY Jungle Adventures Amazon Storm Ice Cream. Topped with chopped nuts, a dollop of rich fudge sauce, this dessert is sure to become a favorite.
Ingredients:
3  -10" 
Chocolate cookie pie crusts, prepared
1  -3 
Gallon tub BLUE BUNNY Jungle Adventures Amazon Storm Ice Cream #587909
  
Whipped cream and miniature chocolate sandwich cookies, optional garnish
1  Cup 
Salty mixed nuts, chopped, optional garnish
3  -12 ounce 
Cans evaporated milk
36  ounces 
Semi-sweet chocolate chips (6 cups)
3  Tsp. 
Vanilla extract
Instructions:
  1. Combine evaporated milk and chocolate chips in medium saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until morsels are melted. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla extract. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  2. Place 3-gallon tub of BLUE BUNNY Adventures Amazon Storm Ice Cream on its side on a cutting surface. Slice tub into 1-1/2" circular slabs, with a cheese knife. Remove outer carton from each slab.
  3. Place slab of ice cream into each chocolate cookie crust. Press edges of ice cream so it reaches the outer crust and mound to the center of the pie.
  4. Remove 12-ounces (1 1/2 cups) of fudge mixture from saucepan and pour over each prepared pie. CAUTION: Fudge must be at room temperature or ice cream will melt. Cover and refrigerate remaining sauce for later use.
  5. Place each pie into a freezer-safe container and return to freezer immediately.
  6. To serve: Slice each pie into 8 equal slices. Pool 1 ounce of reserved chocolate sauce on plate. Remove 1 pie slice and place in center of plate.
  7. Sprinkle entire dessert with 3 teaspoons chopped salty mixed nuts and garnish with whipped cream and a minature sandwich cookie, if desired.
  8. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
